📋 General Regulations

Liga Potosina - Season 7

Liga Potosina is a weekly Pump It Up competition. Each match consists of 16 songs (8 singles and 8 doubles).

📅 Season 7 ⚡ 8 Singles + 8 Doubles 🏆 Leagues: SSS, S, A, B, C and D

🏆 Scoring System

The scoring system follows the Mexican football model:

3
Points
Victory
1
Point
Draw
0
Points
Defeat

ℹ️ The following rules apply to all participants in any league: SSS, S, A, B, C and D

🎯 1. Hard Judge (HJ) Usage

Mandatory: Playing with HJ activated is mandatory in all leagues.

Exception: Online matches (OM), where the game automatically deactivates it.

⚠️ Penalty: If a player doesn't use HJ, points from that song(s) will be deducted and assigned to their rival if they used it correctly.

📹 2. Live Streaming and Game Evidence

Mandatory: Each player must stream their match live.

  • If playing with the rival, the complete match will be streamed
  • If playing separately, each player must stream individually
  • The player must be visible at all times during the stream

📸 Photo evidence: If live streaming is not possible, notify the administrator and rival in advance. Photo evidence may be allowed only once per season with authorization.

🚫 Important: Re-streaming the same song list is not allowed. In case of two streams, only the first one will be considered.

🤝 3. Player Coordination

Shared responsibility: Both players are responsible for agreeing on the day and time of their match within the weekly period (Monday to Sunday).

🎲 No coordination: If coordination fails, both must play the assigned weekly random.

⏰ 4. Punctuality

Tolerance: A maximum tolerance of 20 minutes after the agreed time is granted.

⏱️ Progressive penalty: For every additional 10 minutes of delay, the player will lose the equivalent of one song (1 point).

🚫 1 hour delay: With a complete hour of delay, the player automatically loses the match and their rival must play the random as training.

📞 5. Absence Justification

Advance notice: If a player notifies in advance that they cannot play, it will be taken as an automatic defeat.

Rival: Their rival must play the weekly random to maintain validity in their participation.

⚠️ Penalty: If the player who canceled then plays, their results will be nullified for breaking the agreement and affecting their opponent's motivation or preparation.

🕐 6. Results Submission Deadline

5:00 PM

(Mexico Time - Sunday)

All matches must be completed and reported before this time

🚫 5:01 PM or later: Any stream that starts at 5:01 PM or later will be considered invalid.

🌐 7. Online Matches (OM)

Asymmetric visibility: If when pairing one player can see the rival and the other cannot:

  • The one who can see must play the song and take a photo
  • The other player must play the same song based on that evidence
  • If they don't, it's considered a defeat at that point

🔄 Repeated song: If a song appears repeated by the system, it must be played anyway.

👥 8. Pair Play and Rest Conditions

Same venue, alternating turns: In cases where both players must play the random at the same venue but not simultaneously (one rests between songs and the other plays continuously).

📋 Requirement: Must inform the rival and administrator beforehand, explaining the reasons.

🛠️ 9. Judgement Tool (JT) Usage

Allowed: JT usage is permitted, as it was assigned even in official events like B1g One. Everyone is free to use it.

⚖️ 10. General Table Tiebreakers

In case of a points tie at the end of the regular season, the tiebreaker criteria will be:

  1. First criteria: Songs won in favor
  2. Second criteria: Songs lost (as second criteria if desired to add in the future)

🎮 11. Game Version

Mandatory: All players must use the official and updated version of Pump It Up (Phoenix).

🚫 Prohibited: Modified versions (stepmods like XX, Sanity, Resident, etc.) are strictly prohibited.

📋 12. Song Order and Level

📝 Established order: Songs must be played in the order established by the weekly list. This order cannot be altered.

🎯 Defined levels: Song levels (S and D) are defined according to the league category. These must be respected without exception.
